Scramble to 7

Video Overview

Objective:

Fast-paced 6-vs-6 game to help teams perform well in chaotic situations.

How to play - Create two teams of six players, with one team on each side of the court.

Start the drill with a serve from one team to the other. Following the first rally, every following rally is initiated by a "scramble ball" toss from a coach to the team that won the previous rally. The types of scramble balls can include:

  • Hard spikes
  • Deep tosses behind the court
  • Tips
  • Balls off the net

The first team to win seven rallies wins that rotation. Move each team to a different rotation and play again.

How to keep score - Each rally is worth a point.

Time - Each game to seven points should take only two minutes to play. If you play all six rotations, this drill would take approximately 15 minutes.

Variations - Coaches should use the scramble balls to help the players improve in specific areas where improvement is most needed.

Benefits - This is a good fast-paced fitness game, perfect for the end of a practice.

Emphasis - Transition offense & transition defense.

How it works

I see what you’re trying to do—peeking behind the blur like some secret agent on their lunch break. Sorry to disappoint, but these words are about as useful as a chocolate teapot in the Sahara. You’ve come all this way for a hefty slice of absolutely nothing. But hey, at least you’ve proven you’ve got curiosity—and maybe just a bit too much free time. Go ahead, keep snooping, but I promise there are no hidden Easter eggs here. Just a witty wink and a shrug saying, ‘I see you!’ Now carry on. Or at least pretend to look busy, your boss might be watching.

organization and scoring

Well, well, well… look at you, sneaking behind the pixelated veil like a top-secret spy on a coffee break. I bet you thought you’d uncover the meaning of life, or at least some juicy gossip about our rumored llama-and-unicorn petting zoo (it’s real, by the way, but shhh). Instead, you’re left with this glorious bit of nonsense, crafted to be about as helpful as a screen door on a submarine. Congrats on your sleuthing—if you’re reading this, you’ve definitely earned the official ‘Curious Cat’ badge. Wear it with pride!

For all that effort, you’re rewarded with these premium-grade waffle words. No hidden treasure maps here, no secret handshake instructions, just a wink and a nod from the internet’s cosmic snark department. Feel free to flaunt your hacking prowess to your friends, but don’t expect them to be impressed by our whimsical ramblings. After all, this text is basically the online equivalent of a rickroll—surprising, slightly ridiculous, and guaranteed to raise at least one eyebrow. Enjoy your moment in the sun, detective!
