There's no better investment than staff training. Get your club GMS certified this year!
Having well trained coaches is arguably the single most important part of running and maintaining a successful volleyball club. Knowing that your athletes will be trained using a proven and lasting methodology is a strong attraction to both kids and their parents. There’s no better investment than educating your staff! To that end, we have created GMS Club Certification. The requirements are listed below.
Most of our certified clubs have held private club clinics for their staff. This is a great way for coaches to learn, interact, build relationships, and learn the GMS methods. These events typically happen during the fall months, prior to the start of the club season.
Ensuring that your younger athletes are being taught proper mechanics is one of the most important jobs for a club. This not only lays a solid foundation for that athlete, but will make life much, much easier for those in your club who are coaching older teams.
The club designates a representative to oversee training and to ensure proper teaching methods and training philosophy. This ensures uniformity throughout the club, and will ultimately speed up learning with your athletes.
We have two different options for getting your staff trained, and your club certified.
Our private club events are small and personal. This allows for plenty of individual interactions. Taking the time to discuss the specific needs of each coach (and team) in your club is important. There's no better way to prepare your coaching staff for the upcoming season. Click this link to learn more about our private club events.
Each year we run 8-10 public coaching clinics throughout the United States. Unless one of these events is in your backyard, it's going to be more cost effective to host a private event at your facility. While payment is not required when making your reservation, we do ask for a deposit in order to officially book your week.
