Phoenix, AZ at the end of July – I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone unless you’re going there to visit Sunnyslope HS’s volleyball team. This camp was awesome! Not only were we treated great and had a very high level of volleyball on each court, but we got to work the camp with one of our best friends Kim Sorenson.

Here’s how our days went: We were greeted by a nice heat wave of 90 degrees at 7:30am as we walked out the door, then once we got to the gym we had 40+ girls working hard and competing to get better and we got to finish the day with amazing homemade Mexican food and a refreshing dip in the pool. Not to bad if you ask me 🙂 Once we got passed the initial morning heat wave we were good to go and enjoyed every minute of it.

Thanks to our host families for the great food, hospitality and laughs. Congratulations to Sunnyslope for working hard and going on to win State! We look forward to seeing you guys next summer!!

Relays!!!!

View from one of our host’s home to the other host home – yes they share the same yard, in fact there are 5 homes in this little gated community. But the best part is that they are all family and best friends. How cool is that?!
