While out working coaching clinics and summer volleyball camps, it’s common for us to engage in conversation regarding training different ages and genders.  A lot of people find it difficult to believe that we teach high level volleyball players (Olympians) the same fundamental skills that we teach junior high girls and boys.  There’s no question that differences do exist when coaching men vs. women.  However, when it comes to teaching the fundamental skills, the differences are very small.  Below is a short article that was shared with us regarding this exact topic, but with baseball.
