Fall is an exciting time for us at Gold Medal Squared. Many of our advisory members are hard at work trying to qualify for the NCAA Tournament. Furthermore, many of our volleyball camp and clinic clients are competing in their respective State Tournaments. I’m often reminded that Coaching Volleyball is a demanding, yet often times highly rewarding job.
Receiving emails and phone calls from excited, proud and grateful volleyball coaches is hands down the best part about my job at Gold Medal Squared. Each fall we hear about our volleyball camp and clinic clients winning League, District, and State Championships for the first time in their school’s history. Below are several emails that I have received recently….
“November 2012 – We are having a fantastic season. We finished the regular season 16-0. We just won our league championship tonight, bringing us to 18-0. Winning the league championship and going undefeated are both first for us and to top it off we won a tournament this year for the first time. It is the year of firsts for us. Next step is sectionals which start Monday. We are hoping to finally return back to the state final four. Thanks for everything you can GMS has done for our program.”
“November 2012 – We are in our county tournament final on Saturday. I cant’ even begin to tell you what an impact GMS has had on our program. We are 17-6 and having the best year that we’ve had in many many years. Thanks for everything you guys do!!”
“November 2012 – We had a great season! We are the Division IA Champions and undefeated in league play heading into Regional playoffs. It’s been a great season. Our freshmen team had an undefeated season and won the huge Green Valley B/JV tournament just last week. I give a lot of credit to Gold Medal Squared giving our teams a strong base of skills to start our season with. Thanks!”
We would like to thank all of the volleyball coaches out there who have allowed Gold Medal Squared the opportunity to work with their programs. Thank you for sharing your success stories with us. If you are still competing, good luck! If you are finished up, we look forward to seeing you next summer! As always, if there’s anything we can do to help you or your program, don’t hesitate to ask.
