4 Conference Championships
2 District Championships
3 Regional Championship
Back-to-Back State Championships in 2008 and 2009
2nd Place in 1A State Championship in 2011
3rd Place in 1A State Championship in 2012

Thanks for all your help.

Steve Bain - Varsity Volleyball Coach

November 2011 - We had a great season- ended up 28-6, and were ranked 13th in the state of Nevada. The bad news is that we lost a heartbreaking state qualifying match to a very good team that ended up in the state championship match. I certainly want to pass along that we loved our camp coach (Billy Arnold), and I know that having a great camp prior to the start of our season certainly helped set the tone for our season. I am returning 7 players next year, so I am certainly expecting alot from my girls next year! :)

Shauna Bake - Varsity Volleyball Coach

November 2011 - This is a pretty cool story: This is my same team from last year. I did not graduate anyone (in 2010 we were 3rd in district and only made it to the 2nd round in playoffs). We began the Gold Medal Squared program when Coach Steve Collins and I got home from the clinic at Pepperdine. We consistently planned practice using the GMS book and used a white board every day in practice! Our girls really learned how to compete and play hard for each other and for points. We went 40-1 this year, won 3 public school tournaments, District Champs, and to finish.... were named TAPPS 5A State Champs! It was an amazing season! Thanks for all your help in our success!

Karen Wright - Varsity Volleyball Coach

November 2011 - Thank you Gold Medal Squared, especially Mike Wall and Tom Melton! Rocky Mountain HS is 4yrs old and we have had 4 state appearances, each year placing (1st, 2nd, 4th, 4th). We have been in the district championship match 3 out of the 4 years with back to back wins! The last 2 seasons we have gone undefeated in conference play. We are one of the shortest teams in our conference! Proof that the GMS system works!

Michelle Dodds - Head Coach and Club Director

Just to let you know that our team has jumped from 24th to 6th in the past month and has a first round playoff bye. All thanks to Gold Medal Squared and the coaches toolbox.

October 2011 - I wanted to say thanks for all of your help over the past 18 months in mentoring me with GMS. My team has been enjoying the benefits of my GMS training.

Currently we are 21-0 in matches. Ranked 2nd in State at 6A and are 51-1 in sets overall. We won our first 3 tournaments and beat West Linn for the first time in 15 years. We are +24 sideout/point scoring. Hitting .311, passing 2.21, converting around 38% and serving at 94.3%. We are siding out 63% and point scoring at 63%. We are having a blast. I know I have sent you a ton of emails. Probably over 500 and you always have gotten back to me with the answers I was looking for. GMS has changed our program and I am very grateful for that.

August 2011 - No, THANK YOU!! We love GMS! Ryan, Levi, and Crystal are AMAZING coaches and people. We submitted only one evaluation for both camps, hopefully that's okay as the 2nd would say the same things :-)

We're planning ahead and hopefully can have the same coaches and two week camp as we did this year. We will keep you posted on our season - we are gunning for the top and with this bunch of girls, we can feel the excitement and drive from them already. Thank you for all that you do - you are all a tremendous support to us.

Coach Amy

June 2011 - I am thoroughly impressed with this organization and am very interested in working with you again in the future!  Not only is the administrative end of the camp great, but the coaches were great as well.  Even though I was unable to get back to you this week, I truly appreciated you calling and checking on how everything was going.  I am a new coach taking over the volleyball program at my school and found that this camp was extremely challenging for my girls.  The girls were physically, mentally, and emotionally drained.  Although this sounds like negative feedback it really pushed my girls hard and for that I am grateful.  I am interested in information on the GMS Level 1 coaching clinic.  I want to continue teaching the GMS philosophies in our program and next year have my girls better prepared for the camp.  This year was definately a crash course for the girls and I hoped they did not give the coaches too hard of a time.

Thank you and everyone else who made this opportunity possible!  Our volleyball program is already better because of it!

2009 Wyoming 4A State Champions! GMS was AWESOME! I loved that they made the sport simple and fun for the girls! The biggest improvements made by my team, thanks to GMS, were Defense and Serving! Thank you so much for hiring great clinicians that are very thorough and fun!

I can tell you the GMS camps at Anaconda High School have been nothing short of remarkable helping build the success of our volleyball program. Although Anaconda took second in state falling to a very accomplished team out of Billings Central, they completed the best finish ever at the school. I will tell you that your staff was wonderful with our kids here in Anaconda. Hopefully they can make it back next summer.

Best regards,

Thanks for all that GMS has done to help the Whitewater Wildcats take the 2009 Georgia AAAA Volleyball State Championship. GMS got us all on the same page through our summer Team Camp. The players really began to come together, which led to a very special season in 2009. Thanks again to GMS for all you have done for the Whitewater Wildcat Volleyball program!

We won our first State Championship in school history this past season in Southington, CT. My first GMS clinic was in 2005 in Worcester, MA and then I attended at the University of Washington in May, 2007.

Also, just so you know. The 4 State Champions in the State of Connecticut this past season…all four levels…have attended the GMS clinics and employ their methods. Southington, Darien, RHAM and Coventry.

Thanks again, Rich Heitz Southington, CT.

Just wanted to say thanks! Since GMS came out two years ago, our record has gone from 3-26 to 20-14, this past season. It was the first time in school history to have a team reach 20 wins! Thanks again!!!

We made it to state in a year that one might wonder if we could as we had talent but we were very young. I can say that our season officially starts each year with the summer GMS camp and the girls believe that the coaches at GMS start off our season with a bang! The girls use the information presented in the GMS throughout the season and we often refer back to the information to correct errors. To add to this, the girls have said that they know that the coaching staff pushes them to be better each day and although they sometimes feel frustrated because the skills don't always come easy, but they always feel better about how they are playing and the skills that they developed during GMS. GMS has helped our program and players develop.

Leading off with our annual GMS camp that really got us headed in the right direction we started out the season excited and prepared to work hard. We had some exciting wins, at one point defeating a top ten ranked team from 5A, the classification above our own! Though we fell just short of the State tournament this year I was so excited to see how the girls had grown and improved throughout the season. I can't wait for the GMS camp again this summer and another great season of McIntosh Volleyball in 2010! Go Chiefs!

We have had a great 2 years of volleyball and are continuing on building a great program here at Cascade with the philosophy of Gold Medal Squared Volleyball. In the last three years we have added 2 league titles, 1 district title, and 2 state trophies. We played a lot of summer volleyball along with a GM2 camp! We are already excited about next year and want to THANK GM2 for developing our program to another level!

I am the head coach of the Farmington High School (Farmington, NH) varsity volleyball team. We won the Division III State Title this season for the first time in school history! We ended the season with a 18-2 record (best record in school history). My OH (and little sister) is the only player in NH to be named Player of the Year more than once-2008&2009. I was awarded DIII Coach of The Year honors. In the 2008 season, we made the school's first appearance in a volleyball championship match and ended our 19-3 season as the DIII Runners Up. This is the 4th year I have coached the varsity team as well as implemented Gold Medal volleyball in my program…what a difference it has made. Each season's record was an improvement upon the last. Looking forward to the 2010 clinic!

Imbler High School - Oregon 1A volleyball - Old Oregon League. Our team won the 1A Oregon State Championship for the 2nd year in a row. We defeated Helix High School for the title with a 25-9, 25-16, 25-15 victory. We swept all three opponents at the state tournament in 3 games and held all three opponents to a total of 130 points for the tournament. Our record was 10-0 in league and our overall record was 31-3 with our 3 losses coming from 2A schools. Thank you Gold Medal Squared!!

I have attended the GMS clinic for the past 9 years at the Manhattan site. We utilize quite a few of your principles. Washburn Rural High School has won 4 consecutive State Championships. Furthermore, we have won 5 of the last 6 Kansas 6A State Championships.

Kevin Bordewick Head coach Washburn Rural HS, Topeka, KS

Last year we went undefeated in league, and undefeated in playoff and state. We obviously won the state championship (2A) in Oregon. Our record was 35-2-0 for the season, 16-0 for league. We only lost a total of 5 games/sets for the entire season! (losing only to 5A and 6A teams) and had a 96 game winning streak.

This year we were undefeated in league again, 16-0, overall record was 31-5-1, and we again won the 2A State Championship. (Last year was hard to beat! :) We lost a few more games but still won the matches. Gold Medal Squared has been an integral part of our success. Thank you!!
