Camps for Club Players
Testimonial (April 2012) - "Hey just wanted to update you, our (EPAN VBC- a GMS certified club) 15u team won our region's open championship this past weekend upsetting the number one and previously unbeaten (in the region) NVVA team in the finals to secure a national bid to JO nationals. What is remarkable (in my opinion) is that all of the players on this team are all from our H.S. (Musselman) and they are competing vs huge clubs from the DC metro area that has a 1000 xs bigger population base than we do and get hundreds of kids to each age group to tryouts (we get maybe 15 if we are lucky) and pull the best players from numerous high schools and as you can see we are not a team of giants, most teams in the open regionals had 5-6 kids bigger than our biggest kid. They are also the only team from a club that is based in WV to ever qualify for nationals, they were the first in 2010 when they qualified as 13 year olds. It is a testament to GMS principles and methods that allow these kids to compete and be successful vesus these clubs and team with much larger resources! These kids have been brought up in the GMS system since they were 8/9 and if you saw them compared to these other teams (by thier looks) you wouldn't think they have a chance-they never win the warm-up battle but almost always win the war!!"

Our camps for club players can be designed around your schedule. We can easily do a 2 or 4 day camp depending on your facility schedule and needs. We will cover the following information at camp.
- Individual skills: passing, serving, hitting, defense, setting, blocking
- Team skills: offensive and defensive systems, team dynamics, rotations
- Game-like drills and activities
Who are these camps for?
We run club camps for any age athlete, both girls and boys.
When can I schedule a camp?
Typically our club camps take place in the fall, winter, or spring. The weekend schedule runs for six hours a day on Saturday and Sunday. If you are a club program that wants to host a four day camp during the summer months we can do that as well.
What do I need to host a club camp
Hosting a club camp is a fairly simple process. We require:
- A minimum of 24 players
- Gym space and equipment (1 court for every 12 players)
- Transportation for our staff once they get to your town (we'll get them there)
That's about it. We try to keep things as simple as possible.
What are the costs of the camp?
- 2 day weekend camp: $150/player (with the 24 player minimum)
- 4 day camp: $195/athlete (with the 24 player minimum)
